About Me

I'm Bethany (obviously). I am currently studying a music production degree course at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford, having already finished the 'Higher Diploma' course. I have a pretty good knowledge of the workflow of a studio recording session and a live PA set-up. Computer-wise, I generally use a Mac for writing and recording music, with my preferred program (for writing, at least) being Logic 8. I have some knowledge of Pro Tools as well, and I own an Mbox 2 Mini for working in Pro Tools LE at home, but I'm currently not using it as I'm waiting for Leopard compatibility.

Professionally, I have not done any work in these areas yet, but I intend to. I'm hoping to get my act together with my own dance productions and try and get some work DJing in the near future, and I'm also interested in getting an internship/work experience in film/tv/radio/theatre prior to a full time job. I'm also interested in the possibility of writing music for film or computer games (including free/open source ones).
